Ethel Wood taught a wide variety of social studies classes at Princeton High School in Princeton, New Jersey for 24 years.  There she inaugurated the AP World History course in 2001, and continued to teach it for many years.  Her students consistently received top scores, with more than 70% scoring a "5" during the 2006-2007 school year.  She was a reader, table leader, and question leader for the AP US Government and Comparative Government exams from 1991 to 2007, and she has taught a number of workshops for AP courses for new and experienced teachers.  Ethel is also a prolific writer of social studies educational materials, including the books listed below.
